Life is starting to get back to normal - and it's official.

Although the corona has not yet disappeared and in many countries it is still claiming victims, the understanding that one should live alongside the plague has led to quite a few glittering events, launches and ceremonies already taking place in Israel and around the world.

Yesterday, however, we stepped up with the opening of the Venice Film Festival, one of the most glamorous events held every year.

Last night (Wednesday), at a gala gala, ten days of festival opened.

Attendance, as expected and relative to previous years, was meager.

While we are used to the fact that this is a very popular red carpet and a long line of stars and a-list stars from different countries in the world come and show a presence in it, this year the list was limited.

But we will not be "grids", so we relished and appreciated every guest we recognized.

The first to make our hearts beat faster with excitement was Cate Blanchett.

The actress has arrived in Venice and has already been caught on camera by the paparazzi.

Before arriving at the festival she stated that she would only wear recycled clothes.

"I only work with what I have in the closet. This is the opportunity to remove the cobwebs and see what I already have. And it's fun. Every time you wear something you've worn before - it reminds you of the last time you wore that outfit."

In doing so she reminds us that her style has always been accurate and her fashion choices for the festival, which she has already worn by her in the past, stand the test of time and still look great on her.

The look she chose to wear to arrive in Venice, just before getting ready for the glittering evening, had a perfect Italian scent - tailored white pants with a matching Giorgio Armani button-down shirt, alongside an Armenian vintage black blazer and a black scarf that easily becomes a face mask.

The surprise came in the Valentino bag segment that can hold everything needed for a day of landing at a new destination, and still convey perfect chic.

Sparkling.

This minimalist color palette that Blanchett also returned in the evening, when she chose to wear a shiny navy blue dress with touches of white, on the advice of tight-fitting stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

This is a dress by designer Esteban Cortzer with wide sleeves in the style of a cape and cuts in the back, which she already wore to the London premiere in 2015.

To the dress, Blanchett added classic black heels, a gold necklace and powerful rings from the Italian brand pomellato.

In case you were wondering what about the face mask, then Blanchett is very disciplined for instructions and made sure to walk around the red carpet with a blue surgical mask, which she took off for photography and held in her hand nonchalantly as if she was holding a luxury mini bag.

And if the cycles weren't enough, Kate decided to donate the dress because it contributes to an auction in Venice at the end of the month when all proceeds from the sale will be donated to charities.

Another little reason why we love her so much.

Along with Blanchett, actress Tilda Swinton, who has shown loyalty to Chanel in two blocks of the fashion house, landed in Venice for the festival - both on the day of landing and arriving at the destination and on the eve of the gala.

In the morning she went for a brown trench coat, the kind we really wanted in our wardrobe for autumn, plus a bag from the French fashion house in a matching shade, black vinyl pants and bright red heels.

She wore a white mask, appropriate for the period.

She of course kept the glam for the red carpet, where she wore a Total Look Chanel that features a black tiered skirt with a white shirt with zippers and a dominant collar.

Apparently as a tribute to the Venice Mask Carnival, which was canceled this year because of the Corona, the actress held in her hand a mask designed especially for her by James Marie.

In memory of happy and epidemic-free days.

The two were joined on the red carpet by model Victoria's Secret Taylor Hill, in a cut-out dress with cuts in the chest area of the Atro brand.

A dress in print paisley, which we already said about a month ago, so it's going to be mega trendy again.

Hill fitted the dress with a Chopard jewelry set with an extra-large statement necklace, a bracelet and matching earrings.

As mentioned, this is only the opening night of the festival and we have another 10 full days of events ahead of us.

Totally waiting to see what more surprises await us.
