According to SPIEGEL information, the threatening letter (s) in the "NSU 2.0" case know the new address of the Frankfurt lawyer Seda Basay-Yildiz.

New letters therefore show that the data has been known to the author (s) since spring.

Basay-Yildiz had received the first threatening message in 2018, which was signed with "NSU 2.0".

Your personal data had previously been accessed by a police station in Frankfurt am Main.

After their move, however, the investigators were unable to determine any corresponding data queries from Hessian police computers, according to police circles.

First, the "taz" reported that the perpetrator (s) had again obtained the private data of the lawyer.

According to this, the address of Basay-Yildiz, which is not known to the public, was given in an email with the sender "SS-Obersturmbannführer".

The letter was not addressed directly to the lawyer and has been with the investigators since July.

According to SPIEGEL information, Basay-Yildiz himself has now also received new threatening letters.

Queries from police computers

According to "taz", the message was sent from an e-mail address of the Russian provider Yandex, which, according to investigators, is used by the perpetrator (s).

Right-wing extremist threatening letters with the code "NSU 2.0" have been sent out for around two years.

In a total of at least three cases, the personal data of those affected had previously been requested from Hessian police computers.

Hesse's Interior Minister Peter Beuth (CDU) does not rule out the possibility of a right-wing network in the Hessian police.

A special investigator was appointed.

According to the police, there are now numerous free riders who, in the course of the affair, also send right-wing extremist content, threats and insults and sign it with "NSU 2.0".

The abbreviation "NSU 2.0" refers to the "National Socialist Underground", which between 2000 and 2007 carried out ten murders for racist motives in Germany.
