After three days of fear, the rescue workers have no hope of finding another survivor of the explosion in Beirut.
The head of the Chilean rescue team "Topos" ("Moles"), Francisco Lermanda, told journalists that evening in the Lebanese capital.
The feverish search for someone buried had begun on Thursday after the Chilean rescue workers with tracking devices and their search dog "Flash" discovered evidence of a survivor.
Among other things, they could make out weak breathing signals several times.
Beirut held its breath in the hope of a miracle.
Little by little, the emergency services cleared away the rubble.
Because the building threatened to collapse, they made slow progress.
At least 190 people were killed and more than 6,000 injured in the disaster on August 4.
The port and large parts of the surrounding residential areas were massively destroyed.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, seven people were missing until recently.
