An application to inform indigenous peoples in Brazil.

Native American peoples and environmental organizations are launching an app to report on the spread of the coronavirus around indigenous lands in Brazil to protect residents.

"This application makes it possible to monitor in real time the situation of the pandemic in cities located within a radius of 100 km around each indigenous land", explain the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations (COIAB) and the Institute for Environmental Research of Amazonia. (Ipam), authors of the project.

With more than 4 million confirmed cases and nearly 125,000 deaths, Brazil is the second country most affected by the virus.
