Cinema: the new face of Petit Nicolas

EXCLUSIVE - Six years after the previous film, Julien Rappeneau tackles the poetic work of Sempé and Goscinny. In Le Trésor du Petit Nicolas, the young Ilan Debrabant plays the most famous of literary schoolchildren. A third adaptation currently in the making.


On August 17, the shooting of the third Petit Nicolas film, adapted from the work of Sempé and Goscinny,

began in the utmost secrecy

On a sunny day, director Julien Rappeneau and his team met near Le Bourget, about ten kilometers from the Stade de France.

The decor?

The famous wasteland immortalized by Jean-Jacques Sempé.

It is there that Ilan Debrabant, 9 years old, took his first steps, by embodying with energy, a little mischief and a touch of tenderness… Little Nicolas.

After Maxime Godart and Mathéo Boisselier, this child actor takes on the heavy task of being the third cinematographic face of the character born in 1955 in the columns of the Belgian review
