Coronavirus: record new cases in Ukraine, 3,144 in 24 hours

(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 11 SEPT - In Ukraine cases of Covid-19 continue to increase.

In the last 24 hours, 3,144 new infections have been registered in the country, the highest number in a single day since the start of the pandemic.

The cases ascertained so far in the former Soviet republic total 148,756.

According to official data, the deaths caused by the Sars-Cov-2 virus are all 3,076, of which 53 during the last day.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Health is aware of this.
