He said: "Her life was in danger after her condition worsened, her body temperature reached 39 degrees and her symptoms were similar to those of meningitis."

Doctors were able to stabilize Young's condition, which suffered from a blood clot in her sinuses, in the cavities below the brain.

Doctors claim Xiang fell ill after blowing up an eczema in what they call the "death triangle."

According to them, this is the most dangerous place where a person can crush a pimple.

This is an area that covers a small part of the eyes, the bridge of the nose, the corners of the mouth and the upper lip.

When this area is exposed to infection, this can lead to serious consequences.

The blood vessels in this danger triangle drain to the back of the head and form a direct path to the brain.

This means that infections that develop in this area can find their way into the nerve center in the brain.

Although this is a very rare scenario, an infection that develops in this area and migrates to the brain can lead to vision loss, paralysis and even death.

According to Jeremy Brewer, a clinical professor of dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center, the veins that pass behind the eye sockets lead back to the 'pituitary gland' that is in the brain - a complex of veins that drain from the eye through which all three nerves move and provide sensation.

Prof. Breuer told Men's Health magazine that when we pry or blow up pimples, dirt from our hands and bacteria carried in the air can contaminate the open wound, causing a serious infection.

In such a situation the veins behind our eyes form contaminated clots, which puts pressure on the brain leading to partial or complete paralysis, and in some cases even death.

Without treatment, an infection in the sinus cavity can also cause complete vision loss, cerebral abscesses and meningitis.
