The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported this Monday that there are 9,909 new positives in the country, while there were 315 deaths in the last 24 hours.

With these records, there are 565,446 positives in the country since the pandemic began and the number of deceased people is 11,667.

The province of Buenos Aires, with 4,863 positives and 49 percent of the total, came in first place.

Then the City of Buenos Aires (946), but very close there appear other provinces such as Santa Fe (850), Mendoza (650) and Córdoba (535).

315 deaths were reported in the report;

of which 198 are men -103 residents in the province of Buenos Aires, 30 in the City of Buenos Aires, 13 in La Rioja, 11 in Santa Fe, 11 in Santa Cruz, 8 in Jujuy, 4 in Río Negro, 4 in Salta, 4 in Chubut, 4 in Córdoba, 2 in Santiago del Estero, 1 in Neuquén, 2 in Mendoza and 1 in Tierra del Fuego.

And 117 women - 56 residents in the province of Buenos Aires.

28 in the City of Buenos Aires, 1 in Jujuy, 1 in Neuquén, 11 in La Rioja, 5 in Santa Fe, 4 in Río Negro, 3 in Santa Cruz, 3 in Córdoba, 3 in Chaco, 2 in Chubut, 1 in Salta, 1 in Jujuy, 1 in Mendoza, 1 in Tierra del Fuego and 1 in Santa Cruz,

The fatality rate of the virus is 2%

and the general mortality reaches 250 people per million inhabitants, with an average age of 72 years.

There are currently 2,984 people with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus who need care in intensive care units.

Meanwhile, the occupancy level of so-called

critical beds in the country is 59.3%, and rises to 68.3% if the AMBA is taken as a reference.

During the day on Sunday, a curious fact was known and that is that for the first time the City of Buenos Aires was in third place in number of cases, surpassed by the province of Santa Fe.

In that sense, the Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti, said: "Also for the first time the cases were 50 and 50 between the AMBA and the rest of the country."

And she warned: "Efforts must be redoubled to minimize the movement of people."

All the provinces had new cases in the last two weeks and the positivity reached 53.1% at the country level.

The pandemic in the country is "federalized".

Less than two months ago, at the end of July, the cases registered each day in the Interior did not reach 10% of the national total.

That is to say: 9 out of 10 infections (or more) came from the City and Province.

But that logic was broken and the gap narrowed steadily.

But this weekend, the photo was very different: 36.5% of those infected were registered outside the AMBA.

One in three.

The good news is that 428,953 people who had the virus, recovered and were discharged, and represent 77.2% of all positive cases.
