Accompanied by his parents and his sister, masked, the young man showed up on Saturday to do some shopping in this store near Lille without wearing a mask.

"In accordance with the health protocol in force" in the face of Covid-19 "and in order to ensure the safety of customers and members of staff, the store's security guards requested that the wearing of a mask be respected in the enclosure store, ”the store management said in a statement.
"The mother of the family then told the guards that her son was disabled and spoke of having a derogatory medical certificate," said the management, who "regrets that the security agents did not immediately allow access to the store for this young man subject to presentation of this certificate ”.
A complaint filed
"She offers her sincere apologies to the family and will henceforth ensure that all members of her staff are fully aware of the existence of this type of exemption," she adds.
The mother of the young autistic, who assured that the refusal to enter the store had been notified to her son not only by the guards but also, then, by the management, had indicated Monday morning to have lodged a complaint with the police on Saturday evening.

The mask excluded for certain disabilities
