From Tuesday, September 15, the new six-part series “Oktoberfest 1900” will run on ARD - for everyone who has not yet come to terms with the cancellation of the Oktoberfest.
Of course, the coronavirus did not stop at a Munich institution: this year there will be no Oktoberfest for the first time in 72 years.
Those who have still not digested this bitter pill can, however, refresh themselves from September 15th.

six-part series will run from Tuesday, September 15, at 8:15 p.m. on ARD in double episodes
.
The other broadcast dates are Wednesday, September 16 and 23.
All episodes are available in the ARD media library by the end of the year.
The story told is about a Franconian major brewer who wanted to transform the traditional Munich folk festival into a major event that is loved as much as it is hated today.
What was to be expected with this plan: The Munich breweries do not want to know anything about the Franconia and its megalomaniac ideas.
