(ANSA) - CAGLIARI, SEPTEMBER 15 - The State Attorney's Office has filed the appeal against the ordinance of the Sardinia Region, in force since yesterday, which provides for mandatory tests for passengers entering the island who have not presented themselves at boarding with a certification of negativity to Covid-19.
ANSA learns from sources of the Democratic Party.
Failure to comply with article 16 on the free movement of persons is the fundamental reason for the appeal filed with the Sardinian TAR.
The preliminary investigation on the ordinance was opened immediately after the publication by the Minister of Regional Affairs FrancescoBoccia who worked on the legal study with the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and the State Advocacy.
Presumably, in the appeal filed with the TAR there is also a request for suspension.
Now the President of the Administrative Court will decide whether to discuss it in the next council chamber or whether to proceed immediately, therefore within a few hours.
The appeal was already expected yesterday, on the first day of effectiveness of the order that caused chaos in the Scalisardi with disoriented passengers and management companies with a rule defined as "an enigma".
