The high, dense column of smoke is visible even from several kilometers away and there is an acrid smell in the city.
"It is recommended - reiterates the Municipality - to keep the windows closed and to limit unnecessary movements".
The fire was circumscribed by firefighters but there are still fireplaces within the area.
The shutdown operations will continue throughout the day.
The flames, which apparently did not cause any injuries, also caused explosions in the shed, felt from far away, as well as a tall, dense column of smoke that is now sinking and moving south.
The smell of smoke is still quite strong in the city.
