Towards the closure:
President Reuven Rivlin addresses the nation this evening (Wednesday), ahead of the closure that is expected to be imposed throughout the country starting Friday morning, in order to prevent the further spread of the corona virus in Israel.

As you may recall, this morning the Ministry of Health announced that 1,163 people had died in Israel as a result of the outbreak of the epidemic by 18:00 as a result of the virus.
Yesterday, 5,494 new patients were diagnosed with the percentage of positive answers out of 57,165 tests performed standing at 9.9 percent.
