(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 16 - "We will ensure that the money from the European Budget and the Next Generation Eu (Recovery Fund) is suspended with the guarantees on the rule of law. This is not negotiable". This was stated by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in her speech on the state of the Union to the European Parliament. Von der Leyen then advocated a 'Union of equality' by defining attacks on LGBTI as 'inhuman', asking for mutual recognition of family relations between the various member countries. On migration, he announced the abolition of the so-called 'Dublin system' and its replacement with a new governance system to be implemented shortly. To the rightists who criticized the claims about migrants in his speech he said that 'hate has never given good advice. On the anti Covid vaccines he affirmed a decisive No against nationalisms. From the president also a condemnation against all forms of racism. (HANDLE).
