When competition is impossible: Melania Trump and Sarah Netanyahu wore blue to the White House lawns

A historic ceremony was held on the lawns of the White House, but we preferred to look away from the leaders' tie-dyed locks in favor of their wives.

Among all the public criticism that speaks of trying to divert the discourse from the Corona crisis, peace with someone who is not an enemy or an agreement that is not entirely clear what is written in it - it can not be ignored that yesterday (Tuesday) was a historic moment for the State of Israel on White House lawns.

In a well-publicized, dignified and pompous ceremony, normalization agreements were signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

Naturally, most of the attention was drawn to the leaders of the states - US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed, and his counterpart in Bahrain 'Abd a-Latif a-Ziani.

The leaders wore dark blue suits that looked almost identical and attached them with colored ties - red for the leaders of the Emirates and Bahrain and a blue tie for Netanyahu, which symbolizes the colors of the flag.

But they are not the point, we decided to look away from the main stage and concentrate on those who sat and watched the ceremony up close - the first lady of the United States Melania Trump, the first daughter Ivanka Trump and the wife of Prime Minister Sarah Netanyahu.

The look that broke the net: The battle between Ivanka and Melania is escalating

To the full article

With all due respect to the leaders, we are here to talk about the first women (Photo: Splash)

Melania Trump and Sarah Netanyahu have met in the past, and in previous meetings she has been a clear winner in the style battle.

But to be honest, it's very hard to compete with Melania and that's true for every woman in the world she meets.

Few leaders or wives of leaders have managed to give First Lady a worthy fight.

This time too, despite Melania and Sarah's choice to wear dresses in blue, again - the color of the Israeli flag, one that indicates that they are facing peace and that this is the great moment of the tiny State of Israel, we have one winner, one and clear.

Melania Trump pulled the super brands out of the wardrobe and wore a midi dress with short Prada sleeves in blue with white embellishments.

The price of the dress, in case you were wondering, is one of the highest worn by the First Lady and stands at $ 3,700.

Does this indicate how much she appreciates Israel or the Netanyahu couple that she decided to take such an expensive dress out of her closet?

To the dress, Trump added lobotine white heels that illuminated the Total Look.

Bottom line - looked great.

Accurate, authoritative and with the right colors.

Beside her stood Sarah Netanyahu, the first lady of Israel, who also chose a blue dress studded with a matching top by local designer Dror Contento and a styling by Sandra Ringler.

Attached to the dress were mobile-colored high heels in an attempt to lengthen the leg, a well-known trick for women who are not at the height of Melania Trump.

Sarah Netanyahu might have also chosen a world-class designer dress, but she chose to pardon the blue-and-white industry and for that she deserves a good word, because in difficult times when the fashion industry is having a hard time rising, it's nice to see an Israeli designer dress on White House lawns.

To the blue color that represents Israel and also befits Mrs. Netanyahu, she chose an design team with an oriental scent, perhaps to pay homage to the leaders who came to the important event.

Despite the right choice of color as well as a light, airy and far from the body design that is supposed to flatter - many of Mrs. Netanyahu's proportions are lost within it, and that can only be regretted.

Even so, the competition against Melania is difficult to impossible, so in a situation like this you always have to work harder.

Contento has already dressed Mrs. Netanyahu in the past, and Minister Miri Regev is also on his client list.

"I am pleased with the design and the result, and I am so happy that I fell for the right to take part in such a historic day for the Jewish people," Contento said of Sarah Netanyahu's choice to wear a dress in his design.

Competition is impossible anyway.

And it's impossible without talking about the style icon of the White House, after all she is Ivanka Trump.

The first daughter of the United States chose to wear a recycled dress and break the blue-white-red sequence that flooded the event.

Apparently this is also a strategic choice, since it was impossible to miss it that way.

Ivanka wore a mint green dress by Amelia Wickstead that she had already worn in the past, in May 2019 - a collar dress with apple sleeves that apart from the word "chic" nothing else can be said about her.

World peace and style greetings to all.
