(ANSA) - NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 18 - The fires in California cause the closure of the Yosemite National Park.
Smoke and toxic substances from surrounding area fires have made air quality unsafe even in what is considered one of the most famous national parks in the United States.
It is not yet clear when it will be possible to open it.
At the moment, the largest fire, 'Creek Fire', is only 18% contained.
In the other fire east of Los Angeles, 'El Dorado Fire', a firefighter was killed.
