Sports facilities open to the public to an extent not exceeding 1,000 spectators outdoors and 700 spectators indoors: this

is what the new regional ordinance signed by the president of

Lombardy

Attilio Fontana establishes.

"Starting from today, Saturday 19 September 2020 - reads the ordinance - in Lombardy the presence of the public is allowed during sporting events and competitions, including those recognized of national interest by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), by Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) and their respective federations, or organized by international sports bodies, of every discipline, inside both outdoor and indoor facilities, limited to those sectors in which it is possible to ensure seats to be assigned to individual spectators for the entire duration of the event and in compliance with the measures provided for in the annex to this Ordinance ".

The new regional ordinance will be in force until October 15 and establishes that the body temperature must be measured for both staff and the public, preventing access in case of temperature above 37.5, that the use of the mask is mandatory outdoors and indoors and that spacing must be guaranteed.

Furthermore, it is envisaged that "the purchase of tickets must preferentially be made online. Any ticketing service on site can be provided as long as the relative stations are equipped with physical barriers, the interpersonal distance in the queue is observed and procedures are favored. of electronic payment ".

"The admission ticket, in any case - underlines the ordinance - must be nominal in relation to the individual user of the assigned place".

"In order to avoid gatherings - the text still specifies - the activity of bars, refreshment points and vending machines for food and beverages is not allowed. The possible distribution of drinks and snacks can take place through employees who circulate in the stands , without the public having to leave the assigned seat ".

In Veneto, spectators can attend sporting events, a maximum of 1,000 in the outdoor facilities and 700 in the indoor ones, in which pre-assignment of seats is possible

.

This is foreseen by the order signed by the President of the Region,

Luca Zaia,

valid from until 3 October. The fans "are obliged to occupy for the entire duration of the event exclusively the seats specifically assigned, with the prohibition of placement in feet and seat displacement, ensuring a minimum lateral and longitudinal distance between each seated spectator of at least one meter ".

Spectators must wear masks for the duration of the event, if indoors;

outdoors, the mask must be worn from the entrance until reaching the place and every time you leave, including the moment of outflow.

The ordinance also indicates "the use of digital technologies" to automate the organization of entrances, avoid "foreseeable gatherings" and to allow the registration of spectators;

imposes gates for public access to avoid crowds when checking the temperature and tickets.

Prohibit the entry of banners and flags;

arranges the outflow of spectators in groups at the end of the event;

a steward service must be activated with the task of assisting the public and checking compliance with the measures.

The order was issued "pending the guidelines of state competence relating to national and international championships".

In light of the Dpcm of last August 7, extended until October 8, "the conditions exist - the text reads - to authorize ... the holding of the matches of the national championships in the presence of the public in compliance with the provisions specified in the device" .
