While a record of positive Covid-19 cases was still broken in France on Saturday, Public Health France has identified 10,569 new contaminations this Sunday in the past 24 hours.
Or 2929 less than the day before.
The test positivity rate continues to rise and stands at 5.7%, against 5.6% on Saturday and a stagnation at the end of the week at 5.4%.

Over the past seven days, 3,894 patients have been hospitalized for a SARS-CoV-2 infection - 41 more than the figures announced on Saturday.
Among these patients, 593 were admitted to intensive care (same figure as the day before).
At least 31,585 deaths
Since the start of the epidemic, at least 31,585 Covid-related deaths have been recorded in France, including 20,725 in hospitals, notes Public Health France.
Finally, 40 new clusters were detected.
This brings the number of epidemic outbreaks recorded to 1,045, including 171 in nursing homes.
