Actually, you already knew everything: that the two of them were getting married, where they were getting married, which dress the bride would wear, how long the party would last.

So it has now come about: the presenter Sylvie Meis married the artist Niclas Castello.

The broadcaster RTL was there and published the marriage vows in the video on its website.

Meis speaks of the first meeting with Castello, "that magical night in Venice".

She immediately knew: "What we will have will connect infinitely".

The wedding took place in a boutique hotel in Florence, Meis had also revealed that beforehand.

"Very stylish and with a mirrored ballroom like in Versailles", be it.

RTL wrote that the Villa Cora on the hills outside Florence shone "almost like a fairytale and royal".

The break should go four days, as Meis had previously said.

Shrimp and Strawberry Soup

The public was also able to get to know the dress thanks to a shoot for "Bunte".

It was unclear what the menu would look like.

But in the meantime "Bild" has reported: a 5-course menu has come to the table with shrimp, fish, Tuscan panzanella salad, strawberry soup - and a "stunning, multi-tiered raspberry wedding cake".

Several prominent guests were allowed to taste it.

Including the actor Ralf Moeller and the model Barbara Meier.

This is known because they both broadcast from the wedding via Instagram.

Completely different from the bride: Sylvie Meis had already announced on Friday that she would only post after the weekend.

She wants to savor the moment when she will marry her great love, want to absorb every second, she wrote on Instagram.

So no postings, just love.

Because of the corona pandemic, Meis had postponed the wedding.

It is not known under which hygiene regulations the ceremony took place.

"Bild" reports on personalized masks for all guests.

Meis was married to soccer player Rafael van der Vaart from 2005 to 2013.

The two have a son.
