Italy, visibly worried about the evolution of the epidemic in its French neighbor, has decided to tighten the screws with French travelers.
In a tweet published this Monday afternoon, the Italian Minister of Health himself detailed the new reception arrangements for people arriving from France.

Roberto Speranza thus announces having signed a new ordinance which extends the obligation to carry out a molecular or antigen test to French travelers arriving from seven regions: those in which the virus currently circulates most strongly.
These tests will be carried out upon arrival on Italian soil.
“European data are worrying.
Italy is doing better than other countries, but we have to be very careful, ”he adds.
Contacted by BFMTV, the Italian ministry was responsible for specifying which regions were affected by these new restrictions, previously imposed on travelers from Spain, Malta and Greece.
The regions concerned are Paris and Île-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône Alpes, Corsica, Hauts-de-France, New Aquitaine, Occitanie, and the Paca region.
