(ANSA) - FOGGIA, 21 SEPTEMBER - A soldier of the Guardia diFinanza serving at the Parisi-De Santis polling station inFoggia suffered the theft of his service pistol last night, while he was supervising the polling station in via Marchese deRosa.
According to what has been reconstructed so far, it would seem that the financier was drugged: he would have woken up around 4 in the morning realizing that he no longer had his service pistol, a Beretta kept in the holster.
The military immediately raised the alarm. With him, two other soldiers from the Manfredonia company (Foggia) were on duty.
The thieves entered through a window into the polling station. In addition to the gun, the criminals took away three cell phones and a wallet. (HANDLE).
