After the corona outbreak in the Hamburg bar "Katzen", the number of additional diseases is manageable according to the health authorities.
A total of 13 confirmed Covid 19 cases can be traced back to the outbreak in the pub, including the service staff who have already been reported.
The health authorities count around 600 people as potentially affected contact persons, around 400 of them come from Hamburg.
Most of them were contacted.
Incorrect and incomplete contact details
Last week, the authorities called on visitors to the bar to report to the health department.
Because a number of guests provided incorrect or incomplete contact details, a risk of infection cannot be ruled out for individual evenings.
Hundreds of telephone responses to the appeal were received.
Quarantine was ordered for people who are considered to be close contacts to infected people due to their stay in the bar.
People who develop symptoms of the disease are tested.
If someone actually falls ill, their contacts are identified and, if necessary, tested in order to contain the spread of the virus.
According to current knowledge, other Hamburg bars are currently not affected.
As a result of the local outbreak, the Office for Occupational Safety and Health in the Schanzenviertel and on the Reeperbahn checked the wearing of mouth and nose covers among the service staff.
On Thursday and Friday of last week, 47 companies were inspected, in 18 of which no masks were worn.
