(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 22 - "We have thought of measures that guarantee greater adequacy of income levels through the anchoring of the tax exemption of the contract renewals of the National Collective Labor Agreement to the introduction of a minimum hourly wage modulated by collective bargaining, as well as by supporting second-hand bargaining at the level of a tool to increase productivity at company level and to recognize contractual and economic benefits to workers as a reward for the results achieved ".
Thus the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, Nunzia Catalfo, in an audition before the Social Affairs and Labor Committees of the Chamber, on the identification of priorities in the use of the RecoveryFund.
From the reform of the social safety nets to the social security contributions for hiring, there are eleven projects identified as part of the Recovery Plan, explains Catalfo, "between them distinct but closely connected, united by the objective of reducing the inequalities that characterize the Italian labor market today, aiming to achieve an improvement not only from a quantitative point of view, in terms of an increase in the employment rate, but also from a quality point of view ".
Among the measures, the minister stresses that "the increase in the employment rate and the economic recovery will be supported by a temporary reduction in the cost of labor which will materialize in the granting of tax relief".
With the aim, therefore, of creating new jobs, "also taking into account the different impact produced by the crisis on the territorial level, on gender and in particular on young people".
