France recorded 10,008 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours, Public Health France said on Tuesday.
This is much more than the day before, when the health authorities had identified nearly 5,298 new contaminations.
It should be noted that in general, the figures for Monday mark a slowdown compared to the data for other days, due to the Sunday closure of laboratories in particular.
The number of new cases stood at more than 13,000 on Saturday and more than 10,000 on Sunday.
