Frank Stallone
, one of the actor's brothers.
"This morning, my brothers and I have lost our mother, Jackie Stallone. She was the mother of four children:
Tommy
, Sylvester, Frankie, and my late sister,
Toni Ann
, who passed away in 2012 from lung cancer," he wrote .
"My mother was an extraordinary woman, who exercised every day filled with courage and without fear. He died in
his sleep, as he had wanted"

"It was difficult not to like him, he was a very eccentric and extravagant person. He was born on November 29, 1921 in Washington DC, he lived through prohibition, depression and World War II," said the singer with pride.
"I was talking to him for hours about the 20s, 30s and 40s. It was a history lesson," explained the Sylvester's brother.
"She never wore a mask like a true revolutionary girl. I guess I'm drowning my emotions in tears and a lot of wine. But when you've known someone for 70 years it's hard and sad," he added.
"I will never be able to call my mom again or hear her ask 'why I never married.' But we all love her and her spirit of survival. Her mind was clear until the day she died. She had seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. My brother Sylvester took care of her like a queen throughout her life. Jackie Stallone was married three times and had four children.
Stallone's mother was a woman with an independent life full of qualities, she was a famous astrologer, dancer and her passion was wrestling.
The mother of four made several television appearances during the 1990s and had her own psychic hotline.
Jackie was also the first woman to have her own weightlifting show on television and had her own gym to train in, which she called Barbella's.
