(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 23 - Brazil on Wednesday recorded an additional 869 deaths and 33,281 new infections in the last 24 hours: this was announced in the evening by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).
The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the South American country has therefore risen to 4,624,885, while the total number of victims since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 138,977.
The lethality rate is 3%, while the mortality rate is 66.1 people for every hundred thousand inhabitants.
