The new Covid-19 Epidemiological Report (REDEC) of the Ministry of Health of the Nation, reported on Tuesday 470 new deaths and 12,027 coronavirus infections in the country.

In this way, there are 652,174 positives in the country since the pandemic began and at the moment the number of deaths is 13,952.

that the number of deaths on Monday referred to cases that accumulated, and that did not belong to the last 24 hours and that is why the figures are higher than in previous days.

In this new report it was known that, as has happened from the beginning, the province of Buenos Aires was the one that registered the most cases, with 5,344.

In second place was Santa Fe (1,592) and Córdoba third (1,152).

Only in fourth place did the City of Buenos Aires appear (927).

The rest of the provinces with the highest number of positives were Tucumán (721), Salta (444), Mendoza (426), Río Negro (251), Chubut (132), La Rioja (120), Entre Ríos (121) and Jujuy (99).

Currently there are 3,362 people with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus who need care in intensive care units.

The occupancy level of the so-called critical beds in the country is 60.4%, and rises to 65.9% if the AMBA is taken as a reference.


Until this Monday they had reported that in 24 hours 18,575 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak there have been 1,765,069 diagnostic tests for this disease, which is equivalent to 38,898.1 samples per million inhabitants.

Since this Monday, some format changes began to take place in the report that the national Ministry of Health provides daily, since the beginning of the pandemic, to inform the population about the situation of the coronavirus.

One of the novelties is that the morning report is no longer broadcast live every day, but the report headed by the Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti, will be issued only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at its schedule habitual.

In addition, there are no longer two written reports, but that Covid-19 Epidemiological Report (REDEC) is only one, which unifies the data every 24 hours.
