Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr resigns as chair of the board of directors of the New York Times Company. Its release is scheduled for December 31, 2020 and its place will be taken by his son AG Sulzberger. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 23 - Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr leaves the presidency of the board of directors of the New York Times Company.

Its release is scheduled for December 31, 2020 and will be replaced by his son AG Sulzberger.


    Sulzberger father, 69, was editor of the Times from 1992 to 2018, when he passed the helm to his son.

He will assume the role of president emeritus.
