Since the beginning of August, there have been an average of 49 new serious patients a day, while the average in September stands at 67, meaning a 36% increase.
The segmentation of the data by sectors shows that the increase in the number of critically ill patients originated in the general and Arab sectors.
The significant increase in the number of patients in all sectors, which joins the disturbing increase in the number of patients in a difficult situation, constitute another marker for the spread of the disease and create a great burden on the health system in the country.
However, the authors of the report point out that although in the ultra-Orthodox sector most of the morbidity is among young people, this morbidity may also lead to morbidity of the elderly population and an increase in the number of serious patients. 54% and in general 74%.
Most of the increase in morbidity is in the general sector, but there is also a significant but less sharp increase in the Arab sector.
In terms of patient ages, most of the serious morbidity is still in the sixties plus in all sectors.
