The thousands of SMEs in the sector, taking with them more than 450,000 direct and indirect jobs - in restaurants, hotels, logistics or transport - were the first to be affected in February by the emerging impact of the health crisis.
And they will probably be the last to see a return to normalcy in their activities.
There was a glimmer of hope during the summer, when the possibility of gatherings of more than 5,000 people was announced from September.
But since August, the indicators of the evolution of the pandemic have returned to the red and they have even turned scarlet since this week.
