Chen Amsalem, who is currently starring in the headlines thanks to her role on screen as Etty Alon, confirmed today (Sunday) that she has contracted the corona virus.
"I was found positive for Corona," Amsalem wrote on Instagram, and was quick to clarify that the tests of her husband Maor Zaguri and their father's daughter were negative.
"I feel fine," the actress reassured.
"Mild flu, thank God. Whoever needs to go into isolation - knows. Good signature light fasting and sorry if I infected someone."
She ended the post with a half-joke when she asked: "Upload a beautiful picture of me when you advertise that Chen Amsalem was infected with the corona virus."
The post quickly garnered tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, including many wishes for recovery from its industry members as well.
"Good signature and quick recovery beloved," wrote Ruslana Rudina.
Eden Pines and Rotem Sela sent health wishes, and they were joined by other well-known anchors, including Nasreen Kadri, Korel Simanovich, Ortal Amar, Sarit Polak, Korin Gideon, Mali Levy, Amit Farkash and Yuval Sharaf.
Amsalem's announcement joins that of singer Shlomi Shabbat, who also confirmed yesterday that he was positive about the virus.
