(ANSA) - MILAN, SEPTEMBER 27 - A 48-year-old clean worker, Albanian living in Bergamo, was arrested for detention, after the police found 21 kg of heroin in an apartment he had the keys to in Milan.
On Friday afternoon the mobile agents saw the frozen man with the van in via Tiepolo.
A man briefly got on the vehicle and then entered a building and lost his tracks.
The agents then checked the driver of the van who was sitting in the driver's seat and had still placed a sachet with 10 grams of cocaine on the legs.
He told the police that it was for personal use, but, also considering the quantity, the officers made other checks and found him a set of keys that he didn't want to say anything about.
The mobile team, however, went back to the accommodation in Sardinia where they found a bag with 43 heroin blocks for a total weight of about 21 kg.
2.5 kg of cutting substance, packaging material, presses and 5,000 euros in cash were also found.
The man was brought to San Vittore.
