The advantage, according to the latest Washington Post / Abc poll, is now 10 points, with the Democratic ticket collecting 53% of the vote against 43% of the opponents.
In August, the lead was 12 points.
On the eve of the first TV duel between the two presidential candidates, Joe Biden also appears firmly in the lead in the survey conducted by Siena College for the New York Times: the former vice president is ahead with 49% of the votes against Trump's 41%. According to the specialist site RealClearPolitics, which averages all major polls, Biden's lead has risen to 7 points (49.8% to 42.8%). In the most fought states (the so-called 'top battlegrounds') despite being ahead everywhere Biden sees his advantage reduced to 3.6 points. We are talking about Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Arizioona.
