The week starts with a slightly smaller coronavirus contamination report than in recent days.

A significant figure, but much less than the peak of nearly 16,000 new daily cases recorded last Friday.
This delay could be explained by a lower rise in cases due to the past weekend.
The proportion of people infected among those tested continues to increase.
It is now 7.5%, against 7.4% the day before.
4,070 patients were hospitalized in one week
Over the past seven days, 4,070 patients have been hospitalized for SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Among these patients, 780 were admitted to intensive care, indicates the public health service.

While new restriction measures were announced last week, 81 Covid-19 patients died in 24 hours in hospital.
Since the start of the epidemic, at least 31,808 deaths linked to SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in France, including 21,142 in hospitals and 10,666 in medico-social establishments such as nursing homes.
This large number of new deaths could again be explained by a catching-up of data, which is less easily reported on weekends with Public Health France.
