(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 29 - "Regarding the negotiation with Cdp", Atlantia, in the letter to the Government "reaffirms that it has completed and wants to make every effort to reach an agreement that respects the aims expressed in the letter of July 14 and at the same time protect the rights and the interests of Atlantia and Aspi minority shareholders ".
It can be read in the note released by Atlantia at the end of the board.
"On these efforts, agreements were sought in principle with Cdp. The main obstacles - he continues - emerged in early September with the request for Cdp, among other conditions, unusual guarantees and indemnities and the takeover by Aspi of bond loans issued from Atlantia, conditions all not present in the letter of 14 July and not acceptable in a market context ".
"In the reply letter, Atlantia specifies that its position has always been that of being available for the sale of the subsidiary Aspi, as reported in the same letter dated July 14".
