(ANSA) - NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 29 - Chadwick Boseman used part of his salary to pay Sienna Miller for her role in City of Crime (21 Bridges, 2019), the latest detective film in which the dead actor participated in only 43 years old last August 28 due to cancer.
This was revealed by Miller herself in an interview.
"I asked for a figure that the production would not agree to - he explained -. I wanted a break from the set so I said to myself 'I will only do it if I am compensated in the right way'. it was what I deserved to be paid ".
The actress, who played Detective Franke Burns, also said Chadwick was keen to have her in the film because he was a fan of his work and Miller wanted to work with him for her part.
"They pay you for what you deserve - Miller continues citing Chadwick - it is unthinkable to imagine another man behaving in the same way".
The inequality of wages between men and women in the world of cinema is one of the topics that has been around for a long time in Hollywood.
