Ten Premier League players tested positive for Coronavirus after swabs carried out "between Monday 21 September and Sunday 27".
This was announced by the Premier League specifying that in the same period 1,595 people were tested in all, including players and staff members of the various teams.
All those who tested positive have already been placed in isolation.
In recent days, the names of West Ham manager David Moyes and his players Issa Diop and Josh Cullen, and Ilkay Gundogan of Manchester City had filtered out.
The number of positives announced, in fact ten, is the highest since the English clubs have resumed training after the lockdown.
