LinkedIn is updated with a redesigned graphics and the arrival of some trendy news: Stories and videochat, also with Zoom.

The professional social media owned by Microsoft, with over 700 million registered users, has announced the new look and new functions - which come five years after the last restyling - with a post from CEO Ryan Roslansky.

Visually LinkedIn turns to a warmer color palette, along with rounded shapes to create a softer user interface.

Spaces and dimensions are optimized to give more prominence to members and their experiences, and in general the appearance of the page is simplified, thanks to more use of whitespace and the reduction of dividing lines.

Attention also to accessibility, while it has been announced but the dark mode is not yet present.

Among the news is the arrival of Stories, the contents that self-delete after 24 hours, launched by Snapchat and adopted by the apps of the Facebook ecosystem from Instagram to WhatsApp.

The shift towards visual communication is also behind the updating of messages with the addition of the ability to video chat through Microsoft's Teams, but also Verizon's Zoom and BlueJeans.
