A long line of Hollywood stars infected with the corona virus have been joined in the past two months by the name of Emmy and Golden Globe-winning "Big Bang" actor Jim Parsons.
Parsons, 47, revealed in a video interview for Jimmy Fallon's Light Night show that he and his partner Todd Spivak were diagnosed with blue in March.
"We did not understand what it was. We thought we were just catching the flu. Then we completely lost our sense of taste and smell. I could not understand how those senses could disappear like that."
After realizing that the symptoms were appropriate for the corona virus, Parsons said he and Spivak mourned not being able to enjoy food, after eating became their favorite activity during quarantine.
"It was cruel. I ate everything but could not feel the taste. Really wasted calories," he joked.
To fill the time created, Parsons said he engaged in painting, creative writing classes and oxidizing his hair.
Falun reminded Parsons that the last time he was hosted by him, he even starred on the screens in the successful series "The Big Bang" (in which he played the role of Sheldon Cooper), and wanted to know how he feels now that the series has dropped.
"It reminds me of someone's death," Parsons confessed, adding, "It feels so powerful and you think that feeling will never end. Nine months go by and you realize life goes on. It was bitter-sweet when it ended, but I feel fine."
