Coronavirus in France: more than 12,000 cases recorded in 24 hours, 64 new deaths

Public Health France recorded precisely 12,845 newly positive people in 24 hours.The number of newly infected has not yet reached the record of 16,000 new cases, reached on Friday, but still remains very high. 826 people in intensive care

Santé Publique France also mentions the death of 64 people in hospital in 24 hours due to Covid-19 (against 59 the day before).

In all 31,956 people died from the virus, including 21,264 in hospital and 10,692 in nursing homes.

In terms of hospitalizations, 3,985 patients have been admitted to hospital following an infection over the past seven days.

Among them, 826 patients occupy a bed in the intensive care unit, indicates Santé Publique France.
