She is better and has started walking again, albeit with the use of crutches and with her left leg heavily harnessed by bandages and brace: the American cycling champion Chloe Dygert tweeted a video of a few seconds from the Bologna hospital where she finds herself hospitalized, showing her first standing image after the terrible fall during the time trial at the World Cycling Championships on 24 September in Imola.
On the occasion, at the exit from a curve Dygert, who at that moment was leading the race and was also the big favorite for the title, lost control of the bike and flew into a ditch. Immediate rescue, transport by helicopter to the Maggiore hospital in Bologna and a long operation in the operating room for the reconstruction of the ligaments. Now the first steps of the 23 year old world champion and the wait for recovery.
