Manchester City have signed 23-year-old defender Ruben Dias from Benfica for around £ 65m, over € 71m, and offered him a six-year contract.
According to the BBC, Argentine central defender Nicolas Otamendi went to Benfica for 15 million euros.
Dias is Pep Guardiola's third major signing after defender Nathan Ake and striker Ferran Torres.
Dias, a national team player, grew up in the Benfica youth academy before moving on to the first team, with which he made 113 appearances and won the championship in 2018-19.
