Berlin - erdbär GmbH is best known for its
“Cheeky Friends” products
, snacks made from fruit and vegetables for children, which also include the quetschies popular with children.
As a precautionary measure, the Berlin company has now called for the recall * of a free toy that was distributed in various markets across Germany.
Callback for a free bracelet from “Freche Freunde”: Risk of injury
It is a colorfully printed
reflector bracelet
(clack bracelet) that was sold together with the “Freche Freunde Display Back-to-School / Kita 2020”.
As part of quality assurance measures, the company found out that “through intensive play, the locking seam of the Freche Freunde reflector bracelet (free allowance) can open.
This means there is a risk of injury from the
internal metal part,
”warns Erdbär GmbH on its website.
The metal part, which is responsible for the snapping or rolling mechanism of the bracelet, is very thin and sharp-edged and is a source of danger, especially for children's hands.
