Covid-19 in France: the threshold of 32,000 deaths exceeded, nearly 14,000 new cases recorded

The 32,000 coronavirus-related death mark was exceeded this Thursday evening with 63 new deaths recorded.In its daily report published this Thursday, Public Health France announced that it had registered 13,970 people newly positive for the coronavirus in 24 hours, against 12,845 the day before. Santé Publique France also mentions the death of 63 people in hospital in 24 hours due to Covid-19 (compared to 64 the day before).

A total of 32,019 people have died from the virus.

78 new clusters

In terms of hospitalizations, 3,998 patients have been admitted to hospital following an infection over the past seven days.

Among them, 844 patients occupy a bed in the intensive care unit, indicates Public Health France.

78 new clusters have finally been detected over the past 24 hours, compared to 64 the day before.
