The Ministry of Health today (Thursday) published an analysis of the morbidity data in Corona for September, according to which the death toll this month was 629 people.
The number of new serious patients each September - 2,853 people compared to 1,600 in August.
860 critically ill patients are currently hospitalized.
The condition of 258 of them was defined as critical.
In the hospitals, 15 patients are now connected to cardiopulmonary (ACMO) machines.
Meanwhile, the corona commissioner, Prof. Roni Gamzo, commented on the alarming situation at a press briefing today: "We woke up this morning with about 9,000 verified patients. This did not surprise me. I guess today we also see a similar level of verified," he said.
"Thursday's results will be in line with crossing 70,000 tests. We are currently close to two weeks from the start of the closure. This is the phase of reducing morbidity."
