Recall of gloves: Product can cause allergic reactions
The
glove model "Frankfurt"
in the
color 780 Coffee (article no. 13011-018)
is affected by the recall
.
The reason for the product recall: A sample showed an increased Chrome VI value in these gloves.
Increased concentrations of Chrome VI can cause allergic reactions on the skin in individual cases.
This is a
product
that Roeckl sold exclusively through
trading partners
, but was not sold in the glove manufacturer's own boutiques or online shop, as the company stated.
In addition, the delivery to the trading partners was two years ago and took place in 2018.
According to the company, the glove model "Frankfurt" is now being produced with another tannery, and the collaboration started in 2020. Roeckl obtains the leather for the gloves from certified tanneries, which are in turn obliged to check the material for harmful components such as Chrome VI.
A new commodity warning has been published.
