(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 01 OCT - For the first time an auction Christie's will be commented live: two specialists from the colossus of the art market will accompany with analysis and explanations the live streaming of the evening of 6 October in which masterpieces of the twentieth will change hands century and the fossil skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex in an extraordinary state of conservation.
It is a new format chosen by Christie's to bring an ever wider audience closer to a world hitherto reserved for elites.
The sale will be conducted in the hall from New York with connections from London and Hong Kong, explained in a virtual press conference Alex Rotter, the president of Christie's for post-war and contemporary art who three years ago picked up the winning call for the Salvator Mundidi Leonardo.
In addition to streaming on Christie's website, the sale will take place on all the social platforms of the auction house, including Fb, YouTube, Twitter and WeChat Asia.
