The Ministry of Health updated that yesterday (Wednesday) 8,919 infected with the corona virus were identified as part of 68,128 tests.
More importantly, the number of victims also continues to climb, reaching 1,571.
These data come when the number of active patients in the country stands at 68,811 people.
Since the outbreak of the plague in Israel, nearly a quarter of a million people have been diagnosed and 177,752 carriers have recovered.
In light of this, the rate of doubling of those infected now stands at once every 16 days.
