that prevented the trading from starting at the beginning of the session, and whose failure to solve the problem until late morning forced the Tokyo Stock Exchange operator (Tse) to decide the interruption of trading until the end of the day.
About 3,700 companies are listed on the Tokyo stock exchange and the suspension of trading in the Japanese capital caused not a few problems for the stock markets of Sapporo, Nagoya and Fukuoka which, although active in the early morning, had to stop their activities because it was not possible to register. the execution of transactions at the TSE.
This is the first hitch of this kind since January 2006;
in that case the outage was caused by excessive order input which created a collapse of the electronic system.
The head of Cabinet Katsunobu Kato also expressed his opinion on today's affair, specifying that the Financial Services Authority investigates the matter and will continue to monitor the incident with the TSE, excluding at the moment involvement by cyber attacks, like that occurred in New Zealand last August which caused the consequent freezing of trading for several days.
