On Tuesday, the Knesset approved the Broad Corona Law, which also restricts demonstrations during the Corona virus period. However, the new law stipulates that under the new law the government can declare a "special emergency due to the Corona virus" for a week Until October 14.

It is important to note that according to the law, regulations are required to obtain the approval of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, within the framework of the rules established in relation to the Corona Law.

Subsequently, the government can request an extension of 21 days for the restriction, subject to the approval of the Constitution Committee.

That is, it will be possible to extend the decision for additional periods of up to two weeks, as long as the quarantine regulations are in force.

The declaration of a 'special state of emergency' does not preclude public activity but causes great confusion, so we decided to detail what is allowed and what is not allowed in the current situation.

Enforcement -

The Israel Police officers were given a very broad authority to demand from each person documents confirming that he complies with the regulations and that without presenting them at the request of the police officer, it will be possible to restrict that person's movement.

The authority also includes a power to use force to enforce the closure.

It was further determined that whoever improved the prohibition on gathering in houses, including Sukkot, and would host or organize in his house or in his Sukkah a meeting that violates the regulations will enter in the amount of NIS 500.

Prayers and Demonstrations - It

is permissible to pray, demonstrate or perform religious ceremonies but at the same time the number of participants in the event will be limited.

In fact at the moment it is not possible to hold the events inside buildings but to carry out this activity in the open air while limiting the number of participants to 20 people.

Inside buildings only family members or people living in the same place are allowed to stay together without other people entering.

Regarding demonstrations, it is allowed to leave the house to demonstrate within a range of 1000 meters.

Workplaces -

It has been determined that employers are prohibited from bringing people to the workplaces, unless these are essential establishments or factors that deal with infrastructure such as do not include work in a closed place.

These places can bring in up to 100 percent of their workforce.

Beyond that and a number of other exceptions, workplaces will be able to bring employees, while maintaining the rules of the purple character and closure restrictions, to carry out errands or maintain the functioning of the workplace so that it will not be closed and therefore allow other employees to work from home.

The education system -

the entire education system is disabled until a decision is made other than the special education classrooms, the youth villages and the classes for high-risk youth.

Leaving the house -

Of course it is also allowed to leave the house for medical treatment, even if these are not essential and also a person with a disability who lives outside his home in a hostel or rehabilitation place will be able to visit his parents or his guardian.

Also, the milk droplets are open and continue to be vaccinated.

Other reasons why you can go more than 1 kilometer: moving house or caring for a pet.

When it comes to parks and public parks, people are allowed to go out with their children to these places when they are within a mile of the house.

Similarly individual sports were allowed.

Regarding shopping, it was determined that all stores are closed to the public, except for food stores (including pet food), pharmacies, hygiene, optics, a store for communication / computer products or their repair, medical products and essential products for home maintenance.

Deliveries - Deliveries

can be made from any business and the delivery can be placed near the development of the place.

Tishrei Holidays -

Until Sukkot, it will be allowed to sell Sukkot for construction, as well as the four species, under the rules of social distance.

With regard to the Sukkot holiday, it was determined that the Sukkah will only be used by people living in the same place of residence, without hospitality.

It is also forbidden to make shared Sukkot for people who do not live in the same place of residence.

Public transportation and travel -

Public transportation and the Israel Railways operate only to a limited extent.

Mainly to enable vital workers to get to their workplaces as well as to serve those who need travel by law.

Ben Gurion Airport remains open for outbound flights but of people who bought tickets before the start of the closure only (until September 25 at 14:00) and can prove it.

In other words, new flight tickets cannot be purchased at airlines unless special approval has been obtained from the Director General of the Ministry of Transportation for humanitarian reasons. Entry into the country will be allowed as usual, In accordance with the rules of restrictions.

Private car travel is allowed for up to 3 people (including the driver) and excluding people living in the same house, to whom this restriction does not apply.
